Support: Sprite Archie

Announcements:

• Current version of Sprite Archie is 1.0.0.
  We recommend that you update to this version which can be downloaded from here: Sprite Archie 1.0.0
• Localized versions of Sprite Archie are not yet available

Technical Questions:

• Is there a user guide? I can’t find it.
  Yes there is, the User Guide is located here: Sprite Archie User Guide.
  There is also an excellent review available on the JAMM site HERE which has instructions on using Sprite Archie
• SMS Archiving doesn’t work on my phone. Why not?
  Sprite Archie uses the standard Microsoft SMS data storage structures. If your phone runs a custom SMS application - such as the Palm Treo threaded SMS app, OR if your device has other software which prevents messages from reaching the standard SMS storage location, then Archie will not be able to archive SMS messages. Call History archival will still work.

• Even when configured for immediate archival, an email is not sent.
  Sprite Archie creates an email and uses the standard MAPI services to send it via the outbox. This means that Sprite Archie does not manage the sending process. The timing for when emails are sent is determined by your email account configuration.
