To backup the data on your Mobile Device, simply select the ‘Backup’ button. Sprite Backup will then guide you through the next steps of confirming data selection and storage location. To restore the data on your Mobile Device, simply select the ‘Restore’ button. Sprite Backup will then guide you through the next steps of selecting the backup file and confirming the data selection. To configure your automatic daily or weekly backup schedule, simply select the ‘Schedule’ button. For more information see Scheduled Backups. |
From the main screen, select the kind of backup you want to perform. If you choose Full Backup, the program will back up all possible data, such as PIM data, Emails, My Documents and System data (other files, programs and their settings). To manually select what particular data you want to backup, choose Custom Backup. Select Scheduled Backup to configure automatic scheduling. To configure SBP Backup Options, select ‘Tools -> Options’ . |

| Just click Next if you want to backup the entire contents of your device. To change the settings for what is included in the backup, use the data selection screen in a similar way to Windows Explorer, drilling down by clicking on the ‘+’ symbol. Select items using the checkboxes. A red checkmark indicates that every sub-item of the selected item is selected, whereas a grey checkmark indicates that some sub-items are not selected. | This feature allows you to select the particular item categories you would like to include in the backup copy.
