Hmmm...
<br>I haven't seen a backup file with just appointments, contact and tasks exceed 2Mb. But it is definitely possible that you could add enough data to exceed 6Mb. 
<br>The bigger file store is a bit like having a bigger hard disk - if you have the extra space you won't need it, but if you don't have it, then you're likely to miss it.

<br>My full backup using iPaq Backup on my 3970 device was larger than 20mb.  It is being shown as 21.2mb within the iPaq File Store directory using File Explorer.
